Election Finance Issues...

Is it really legal for a 3rd party to produce a 2-hour plus campaign ad at a cost of several million dollars and release it three weeks before the affected election under the current campaign finance rules?

Just wondering......

Well, since the only candidate who has taken a position on campaign finance/communications is the Republican candidate, and he is generally and often accused of shitting on the First Amendment thereby, what difference does it make?
