Can we end the silliness

More and more, out there amongst the voters, the notion that the "War on Drugs" is a counter-productive tragi-comedy accomplishing only the massive over-funding of violent black-marketeers and the incremental obliteration of civil rights is becoming increasing obvious to all but the very most oblivious.

A Craigslist ad like this might just be a hint to the electeds that they've ridden this particular horse right into the ground...but then again, they don't appear terribly good at listening on other topics, either.

Amen! I just tried to get a refill for my favorite water purification setup. It uses crystal iodine to make a solution of iodine in water; just put a few drops in your canteen, wait 20 minutes or so, and you're good to go. Cheap, lasts for years, and very portable.

Local supplier says he can't get it anymore, because the DEA put all kinds of restrictions on crystal iodine. Idiots.

Sigh... listen? Why that would mean they might actually get some facts...
